Kaj den Daas
CEO

Kaj den Daas has served as our CEO since July of 2015. He has significant experience in the lighting industry serving in various capacities at Royal Philips between 1977 and 2010. This includes most recently being Chairman of Philips Lighting North America and Chief Executive Officer, Business Unit Professional Luminaires, North America for Philips. During his tenure with Philips Lighting, Mr. den Daas was responsible for manufacturing, R&D, distribution, commercial and all other business functions of Philips Lighting in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Under his leadership, Philips became the largest lighting company in North America. 

Mr. den Daas currently serves on a number of boards including private equity, venture capital and public companies within the lighting and related industries, including Valmont Industries Inc. Mr. den Daas also is a member of the Illumination Engineering Society of North America and from 2008 to 2010 served as Governor of NEMA. Mr. den Daas earned a doctorate degree in Business Economics from Erasmus University, Rotterdam.

 

Jim Connolly
Senior Vice President – Global Sales 

Jim Connolly has been with TCP for over six years and brings more than 30 years of experience in the lighting distribution industry. He was previously the General Manager of Consumer Sales for GE Lighting, a division of GE Consumer Products that sold light bulbs and electrical accessories to all channels of retail distribution.

Jim was employed by GE since 1984, when he began his career in lighting. While there he progressed through sales positions in several geographies and moved from Field Sales to Home Office in 1990, where he was responsible for the Hardware Channel of Distribution. Mr. Connolly then became a Regional Manager responsible for sales in the Midwest. He became National Sales Manager for Hardware and Home Center in 1996, and then assumed the role of General Manager of Consumer Sales in 2000.

Jim is a 1982 graduate of Niagara University. He and his wife Mary reside in Aurora, Ohio

 

Kevin Nolan
General Manager

Kevin has over 13 years experience of leadership and change management working in a business to business distribution environment. He joined TCP from the Electrocomponents and RS group. 

Kevin joined Electrocomponents in January 2001 and has held a number of leadership positions covering all commercial and operational areas.  Kevin joined as Head of UK Internal Sales and subsequently held additional leadership roles in, Inbound Logistics, Customer Service and Experience, Regional Supply Management and Global Asset Manager for the Electrical and Test & Measurement sector. Kevin is a Graduate in Law and Business from the Liverpool John Moores University.

Kevin is responsible for the UK and Ireland Business and leading the TCP head office to support growth throughout the EMEA region.

 

Stuart Castle
Finance & IT Director

Stuart has over 20 years financial and management experience across a broad range of industries. He started his career in London, where he trained to become a Management Accountant, and developed his expertise in accounting systems.

Since then he has developed his skills to include foreign currency acquisition procedures, improved stock control in logistic centres and the consolidation of company I.T. systems following various acquisitions.

As Finance and I.T. Director Stuart is responsible for the development of robust systems, controls and the processes that are in place to support the development of TCP in the EMEA region.

 

Jessica Parker
Operations Director

Jessica Parker first joined TCP in 2007 in TCP’s USA marketing department. After relocating to the United Kingdom to complete her Master of International Marketing Management degree, she facilitated the setup of TCP in the EMEA region. Jessica has been a key contributor to the building of the TCP organisation, from the initial setup of EMEA compatible CFL product range to the landing of our first major retail account's product range in store. She has over 5 years of experience in the lighting industry in various levels of product management, marketing, supply chain, industry legislation, certifications, retail, logistics, account management and sales.

As Operations Director, she oversees product management and development, supply chain, and quality and compliance for TCP's EMEA region. Jessica has a bachelors degree from Ohio University in the USA, complemented by a Master's in Marketing from Glasgow University.

 

Céline Verhaeghe
Deputy Director France

Céline Verhaeghe joined TCP in 2012 to facilitate the set up of TCP FRANCE.
 
With over 6 years of experience in the lighting industry, Céline previously worked for TRAXON E:CUE / OSRAM as European Marketing Manager and Business Development Manager in architectural lighting.

Céline has a Master degree in International Business and Negotiation from the Lille III University in France as well as a degree in Chinese.
 
In her role Céline is responsible for all operational aspects to support growth and ensure the development of TCP’s brand presence in Central Europe.
